Rhiannon Pinson

Hello Everyone,    My name is Rhiannon Pinson.  This will be my second semester at LMC as a Journalism major.  I am currently working full time as a restaurant General Manager and taking 19 units online.  I was born and mostly raised in California (lived a short period in Washington).  I have lived in several places in California including Santa Barbara and Martinez but now live in Brentwood.  We visited Seattle in Spring last year and seriously considered moving back to the state of Washington after this visit.      I am one of 3 children.  I have an older brother and a younger brother.  I have a daughter, three nieces, three nephews, and two cats.     I appreciate reading a variety of books but my favorite series is still "Harry Potter".  "Memoirs of a Geisha", and "The Help", are also in my top 5.  I enjoy watching baseball and hockey.  My favorite teams are the San Francisco Giants and th...

Hello Everyone,    It’s hard to choose just one place as a favorite but I would have to say the beach.  Living in California we have a distinct advantage of such an amazing coastline unlike anywhere else. We are fortunate in this area to live within a short distance to several beaches. I lived in Santa Barbara  for a little more than a year and the beaches were within walking distance.  I grew quite spoiled to say the least.  I find that the sound of the waves calming, even on the most stressful days. Taking the time to enjoy the sun and the sand puts everything into perspective and provides a unique sense of  tranquility.  However, if relaxing at the beach isn't your cup of tea, it also offers several activities including hiking, surfing or sea kayaking to name a few. I personally would highly recommend taking a guided tour through sea caves .  It's definitely an adventure worth having! I hope you enjoy your next trip to the beach wheth...
